In the rubble of the London Blitz of World War II, Alice Spencer’s budding teen life is turned upside down, and she and her dear friend Alfred are forced to take shelter in an underground tube station. When the ailing Alfred is quarantined, Alice encourages him to escape with her into their cherished book and journey down the rabbit hole to Wonderland.

As they travel through the tale, Alice by Heart explores the poignancy of first love, coming to terms with loss, and finding the courage to move forward. Alice by Heart encourages us all to celebrate the transformational power of the imagination, even in the harshest of times

  • We highly recommend purchasing tickets as far in advance as possible. The Barbershop Theater is an intimate space with limited seating, so we cannot guarantee ticket availability at the door.

  • Age Recommendation: 12+

  • Yes! Groups of 6 or more get 20% off! This discount is added automatically at checkout.

  • Late seating is not guaranteed. Patrons should plan to arrive at least 15-30 minutes early for parking, entry, purchasing concessions, and using the restroom.

    Seats that remain unfilled at the start of the show are subject to be released to those on the waitlist.

    Refunds will not be made for those arriving late.
